I have been experimenting with making a nourishing and
moisturizing soap with an amazing local red wine for Bodegas Perfer. He estado experimentando con
No matter what Essential Oil blend I use for the
scent, I can still detect the wonderful natural wine scent coming through...
Aside from red wine, this soap has been made with local
organic extra-virgen olive oil, sweet almond oil, organic shea butter, argan
oil, coconut oil, castor oil and essential oils of lavender, cedarwood and ylang
ylang.
These are so rich so delicate looking. I can imagine how wonderful on my skin. So wish Spain were closer to my farm. Tell me did you let the wine sit very long before using?
ReplyDeleteHi Donna, Thanks for commenting!! I didn't follow advice... I just subbed most of the water for wine and mixed in lye very slowly while liquid was on ice. I am sure I will be experimenting with different methods as well. Just wanted to keep as many of the natural wine properties as possible. xoxoox Jen
